Geoffrey P. Turner, MD, PhD
Pathologist
Dr. Turner is a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist with subspecialty training and board certification in hematopathology. He also has a Ph.D. and an M.S. in molecular genetics. He is particularly drawn to hematopathology because it uses a wide range of morphologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular techniques to make diagnoses. Before joining Vista, Dr. Turner was a pathologist at Professional Pathology Services in Columbia, South Carolina, and served as Medical Director of Laboratory Services for the Prisma Midlands Hospital system. While in medical school, he spent six weeks working at a hospital in Kikuyu, Kenya, as part of a Health Care In Developing Countries elective.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and discovering all the Rogue Valley has to offer with his wife and three daughters.
