Kristen Basnet, MD

Pathologist

Dr. Basnet came to us from CellNetix Pathology and Laboratories in Seattle. She was one of the pathology associates with the group from 2018 until joining us in 2021. She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and was a resident at Massachusetts General Hospital where she also received her Fellow status in Surgical Pathology, Breast, and Perinatal Pathology from 2013 to 2018. Dr. Basnet completed and received her MD degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in CA.

She and her family love nature and enjoy time outdoors, including hiking and going to the beach. Her husband loves cooking, photography, and gardening while she likes art (specially drawing), playing with their kids, working out, and music- including playing the violin.
