What Pathologists Do

The Study of Pathology

Pathology is a branch of medicine that examines disease through the study of bodily fluids and tissues.

Flow cytometry is a method for detecting small numbers of abnormal cells in a sample of blood, bone marrow or other tissue.  Our flow cytometer is able to detect a single abnormal cell among 10,000 normal cells.

Did you know…?

When your doctor takes a tissue or fluid sample, one of our couriers drives to the hospital or doctor’s office to pick up that sample for analysis.

Our courier then delivers your sample to our lab so that we can get to work right away.
